I’m thankful for the success I’ve had with DJ Jodi Entertainment. Whenever possible, the gals and myself take the opportunity to give back to our community. Here are a few events we’ve donated our time and talents to.
Hungry For Hope: Jodi was kind enough to donate her services to the fourth annual Hungry for Hope fundraiser in August. All proceeds go directly to Safe Harbor Recovery Center in Portsmouth, so any in-kind donation we can receive, we always appreciate. There are multiple challenges associated with the venue, and Jodi tackled them all with grace and knocked it out of the park on the event day! Needless to say, we will be requesting her services again for all of the future Hungry for Hope events! ~ Elise Parnham
Rochester Pride: We are extremely grateful that DJ Jodi performed at the Rochester NH Gay Pride Festival. She created an exciting and energized atmosphere and kept the party going the entire time. DJ Jodi is wonderful to work with- a true professional who is also an absolute delight. Her personality and skill were priceless in creating a memorable event. Paws For A Cause: Paws for a Cause was a fundraising event held at Ipswich River Park in North Reading on April 24, 2016 to benefit Operation Delta Dog. OpDD is an organization whose mission is to rescue homeless dogs and train them to become service dogs for veterans with PTSD and TBI. The event was supported by my First-Year Experience students at North Shore Community College as a service-learning project – a project for which we had no budget for things like hiring a DJ. Through a mutual friend who helped to spread the word about Paws for a Cause, Jodi contacted me and offered her services for the day for free. As she was the DJ at this same friend’s wedding a few years back, I was thrilled to have Jodi be a part of our event because I could trust that she would do a great job. She was a complete professional – she was super easy to work with and very responsive to any questions or ideas that I had. At the event, she kept everything moving, did an awesome job when I needed her to make announcements, and really helped to hype up the event. Considering my back-up plan was to use my phone and a speaker for music, having Jodi there really helped to make the day much more fun, and as the event was an enormous amount of work to plan, I was incredibly grateful to be able to hand this task over to Jodi and be able to trust that it would be great. I truly cannot recommend DJ Jodi Entertainment enough!”

5K Southern Maine AIDS Walk/Run: Over the years, DJ Jodi Entertainment has donated their time and energy for various events we host which directly support HIV/AIDS services in Maine. Many of our events are about celebrating and supporting each other; emphasizing an environment that welcomes and unites people. DJ Jodi creates exactly that atmosphere through her music and her generosity. In 2016, during a freezing and drizzly AIDS Walk in the Spring, DJ Jodi’s team was there to keep the crowd happy, excited, and focused on the importance of the event.
