Born and raised in Dover, NH, Jodi began DJing and event planning in 1994 and has since become one of New England’s most well-known DJs. In 1999, Jodi founded DJ Jodi Entertainment where she not only is a full-time DJ, but also oversees an army of DJs trained to execute any event. Jodi’s depth and breadth of experience make her a musical asset to any event – big or small, private or public, wedding, club, or personal party. You name it, Jodi has done it!

We are so happy to have found DJ Jodi and we cannot say enough wonderful things about her! Jodi was very thorough throughout our planning process. She spoke in length on the phone with us before we made our decision, and subsequently walked us through all of the steps, many that we hadn’t even thought of, in planning our wedding day music. She met with us in person prior to the wedding to review everything which was extremely helpful. On the wedding day Jodi played our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. She moved seamlessly between the different parts and coordinated well with all of our other vendors. Everything felt like it moved along so smoothly and I credit a lot of that to Jodi! She also went above and beyond what I would have expected a DJ to do. Early on in the cocktail hour I got a stain on my dress. While my bridesmaids were helping me get it, Jodi appeared like a fairy godmother offering a stain remover pen from her emergency bag–she had somehow spotted the spill happening and was there to offer her help. As for the music, it was perfection! Her pre-ceremony selections were beautiful, cocktail hour was exactly what we had pictured, and the dance party was killer. She kept people of all ages dancing throughout the night, and at the end of the night we couldn’t believe how many people were up on the dance floor with us for the very last song. DJ Jodi is amazing! She doesn’t just get people moving on the dance floor, she helps you to plan the whole outline and flow of the wedding and pays attention to detail. DJ Jodi was incredible. My wife and I wanted someone who wasn’t going to try and give us a cookie cutter wedding.
